CNC Cutting Tool Inspection. When the programming engineer finishes the CNC machining program sheet, the first thing CNC operators need to do is to prepare the required cnc cutting tools in advance. Our CNC operators will do one more thing, that is, to check the flatness of the cutting tool edge and the concentricity of the cutting tool after it is installed in the cutter head before cnc machining, so as to eliminate the risks brought by the cnc cutting tool before cnc machining, and to eliminate the step of checking concentricity on CNC machines, thus improving the cnc machining efficiency.
Self-Check by CNC operators. When each of the cnc program is finished, the cnc machine operator will check the related sizes on machine to ensure that it is correct before proceeding to the next process or uninstall the parts from cnc machine so as to control the quality of every process.
Patrol inspection. Patrol inspectors conduct random inspection on semi-finished products in process to ensure the qualified rate of products for confirmation again.
Removing burrs. Some special-shaped complex parts need to be deburred manually to ensure smooth products without sharp edges and corners. For precision machined parts and low volume parts, our company advocates that those processes can be machined on cnc machines should not be handled manually as possible as we can.
Inspection process. According to the requirements on drawings, our quality department colleagues select precision inspection instruments such as CMM, projector, height gauge and micrometer to measure all dimensions of the product to ensure that the product dimensions meet the requirements of customer drawings.
Surface treatment. After the custom parts are inspected, they will be sent to do surface finishes such as sandblasting, oxidation, powder coating, electroplating, silk screen printing, laser engraving, etc. Various colors can be customized according to the customer’s needs.
Final Inspection after surface treatment. Oxidation and electroplating will change the sizes of machining parts about 0.01mm, and 0.05mm for powder coating. Therefore, we need to do final inspection again for all parts with surface finishes to ensure that the dimensions after surface treatment are within the tolerance range required on drawings. And finally issue an outgoing inspection reports accordingly.
Packing and Shipping. After final inspection, we would take photos for customers to confirm before packing and shipping. We can also provide custom LOGO packaging materials for customers. For fragile or heavy parts, reasonable and safe packing methods such as wooden cases will be adopted to ensure the goods reach reaching customers hand safely.
